The Design Development process begins to refine the information developed during the charrette, focusing on floor plans, exterior elevations, site planning, and the initial concepts for interior detailing as represented through interior elevation drawings. Greater detail will begin to be added in order to further define the proposed materials of the project including examples of roof tiles, windows, doors, exterior wall finishes, ironwork, flooring, and the like. These elements allow for a fairly comprehensive understanding of the form, scale, proportions, and characteristics of the home.
